A 100 years of Summer Sensations! Centenary celebrations are always poignant and 100 years since the end of the Great War have sparked many commemoration celebrations around the UK and Europe.  Choir 86 acknowledge this in their forthcoming Summer concerts and want to add to the trip down “memory lane” by performing songs from every decade since the 1920’s.  This ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy in these concerts. The selection reflects the evolution of popular music through the century and the emergence of the “pop-group” is reflected by the accompaniment of the Choir by “The Teach Boys”, an ad-hoc Band of Teachers associated with Choir 86.
